Carlyn Hutchins - April 2010 Newsletter

Hello everyone! I hope you're enjoying this early spring weather - I know we're all a bit rain and flood weary in Massachusetts, but I am choosing to look at the bright side of it. To me, it's a sign that the growing season is just around the corner, and that makes me a very happy woman!

This month's free song download is "Urban Tragedy", in honor of it having been chosen for Women of Substance Radio's program "Music With a Conscience", which aired during March. If you missed it, then just click the download link at the bottom of the email and you can get it for free! I have a couple of shows coming up soon: one on Saturday April 3rd and one on April 10th, which is a late addition to the schedule. Way off in the future is a show at The Soule Homestead, get it on your calendar now!

Saturday April 10, 2010 8:00 PM: Driftwood Folk Cafe in Plymouth, MA - Opening for 2008 Guitar Magazine Guitar Superstar Vicki Genfan! The originally scheduled opening act can't make it so I'm a last minute fill in. Seats are $15- to buy in advance, please visit the Driftwood Folk Cafe website. Saturday August 14, 2010 6:00 PM: Soule Homestead Saturday Music Series in Middleborough MA - Opening for Kerri Powers! This is a rain or shine show, $7 cover charge.
